Best of the Blogosphere: "Tax Attack," SILO, Tax Credit Debate, McCain Health Credit

With the completion of our CompeteUSA YouTube Contest, the winning video from Andrew Patterson of Edmond, Oklahoma has been well received. Let's take a look at the best of the blogosphere's love for the Tax Foundation:

• The "Tax Attack" video is popular with our political and economic bloggers, from the national to local level. National Review's "The Corner" highlights Patterson's video, as does Atlas Economic Research Foundation's .TV blog. University of Cincinnati Professor Paul Caron's "TaxProf Blog", Radley Balko's "Agitator" blog and "Radio Free New Jersey" also give it attention. The Republican Jewish Coalition's blog uses the video to remind us that "the power to tax is the power to destroy" while Wizbang Blog's Steve Schippert says that the video "explains the effects of high corporate taxes in a language your mother and your neighbors can understand clearly."
• The Library of Economics and Liberty's "EconLog" blog uses Tax Foundation Tax Counsel Joseph Henchman's latest Fiscal Fact on transit agencies nearing default to argue that "the consequences of tax and regulatory policy are beyond the ability of policymakers to forecast."
• InsiderOnline's blog highlights an ongoing discussion between the Tax Foundation and ATR on "targeted tax breaks."
• The Heritage Foundation's "Foundry" blog and the National Center for Policy Analysis's "Daily Policy Digest" give kudos to Vice President for Economic Policy Robert Carroll's piece on the McCain health credit proposal in the Wall Street Journal.
