New York ranks near bottom for business tax burden
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) _ New York state puts a higher tax burden on businesses than almost every other state, according to a report released Wednesday.
The State Business Tax Climate Index is used by the Washington-based Tax Foundation, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, to measure the "tax-friendliness" to business of each state's tax system.
