"Believe It or Not, Tax Freedom Day Comes Early This Year"

The Tax Foundation added a computation to this year's charts that is sobering in this time of recession and stimulus packages.
When you factor the deficit—federal red ink—into the equation, Tax Freedom Day slips all the way to May 29.
The foundation arrives at that figure by simply adding the deficit to taxes collected.
