"A poll conducted for the Tax Foundation found that most Americans would prefer a flat-rate income tax with no deductions. The Tax Foundation is an independent tax policy education organization that believes the tax code should be simple, transparent, stable and should not hinder economic growth. These are laudable goals and they show the group's aims with its survey."
