-- Was paid for by the nonpartisan Tax Foundation. 
-- They surveyed more than 2,000 adults March 28 - April 1, 2005.
-- The margin of error is /- 2.2 points.

ARE TAXES TOO HIGH?
-- 55% say taxes are too high. That's a five-point increase in a year. But lower than average.
-- Since 1947, the average has been that 58% feel taxes are too high.
-- Now, 58% of married couples say taxes are too high.
-- 64% of people aged 45-54 say taxes are too much. That group is the most unhappy."
