Facts & Figures Handbook: How Does Your State Compare?
How do taxes in your state compare nationally? This convenient pocket-size booklet compares the 50 states on 31 different measures of taxing and spending, including individual and corporate income tax rates, business tax climates, excise taxes, tax burdens and state spending.
This is an update of the 2009 mid-year version of the booklet, which was published in July.

ERRATUM: Table 8 of the printed edition of the 2010 Facts & Figures booklet erroneously adds California's across-the-board income tax surcharge twice. Each bracket's rate is 0.25% lower than stated in the erroneous table; the rates range from 1.25% to 10.55%. The electronic version and PDF version have been corrected. We regret the error.
